We are finally going to be holding our first meeting of 2022. We appreciate your patience as we navigate the ongoing pandemic and make sure that we can create a safe event for all that attend.
Our July Meeting will be at the same venue as last July which is the Long Beach Veterans Administration Patients Gardens. They have added quite a few new planters of flowering plants as well as two now being attended to by us! Come spend your Saturday morning amongst the beautiful colors and greenery while honoring our country’s birth of independence. What better place to do so!
Check out our awesome Hibiscus Drawing Plants that will be given away at the meeting:
For those of you who have not been there before you will need to enter the property on Medal of Honor Blvd off of Bellflower Blvd. Take the road all the way around making a loop to the left passed the construction areas and uneven roads. Use the water tower as your guide as the gardens are underneath them. Don’t cut across any of the parking lots just follow the road and park in front of the garden on the road which is tree lined and shady at that point.
We will be providing ice cold water and chairs. We will have a question and answer time with our experts as well as our traditional plant drawing and auction. Lots to walk around and check out, they have it all there and it is growing by the year.
We look forward to seeing you all there! If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact us here on the website or ask us on our Facebook page.
