SCHS June Meeting 2016

Our June 2016 meeting is another fun and interesting destination as we will be holding our meeting at the flagship store for Southern California based Armstrong Garden Centers in Torrance. We will be starting an hour earlier than usual at 9am as there will be a free class given by Armstrong Garden Experts on the topic of “Pollinators”. Should be an informative and information packed one hour not to be outdone by our meeting that we will be holding after in our own reserved section of the nursery.
This will be a great time to be there as Armstrong will have a full compliment of all spring and summer plants available to browse and purchase after the meeting. They also sell mature hibiscus and exotic hibiscus plants so some great things to check out while there.
The Armstrong class starts at 9am sharp and we will hold our meeting after giving everyone a chance to take a break and walk around for a short bit. There are a lot of great restaurants next door so we will head to one after the meeting for those that would like to continue the day.
