April 2023 Meeting & Live Seed Nicking Demo – VA Therapy Gardens Long Beach
Join us at this hidden gem in the South Bay where colors are abounding at every turn. We picked spring this year to have our meeting here so we can get max coloration with a wonderful spring bloom fest. Easy to get to and located near many fun locations worth spending your day at this is a great way for us to start off 2023 with our first meeting of the year.
Better yet we have our own world famous SCHS member Malou Lopez-Urbano giving a live demo on seed nicking and planting. You can see how it is done from a master grower and hybridizer in person. It doesn’t get better than that. Also you can check out our two hibiscus planters we have at the gardens there. Our plants are growing bigger by the month and help contribute to a great cause.
